Be a movement maker! Join us for this fun-for-the-whole-family day of art-making, music, story times, writing activities, and dance as we explore the galleries.

9 AM: "Dance with a Hat" with the Power APAC Dance Department
An interactive, improvisational dance game/performance designed by Bethany Philipp that invites the audience into the process of creating a dance.
9:30 AM: Story Time - Just Add Glitter by Angela Diterlizzi & Samantha Cotterill
10:30 AM: Story Time - Be a King: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Dream and You by Carole Boston Weatherford and illustrated by James E. Ransome
11 AM: Red Flame Hunters All Youth Indian Tribe Mardi Gras Dancers
11:30 AM: Story Time - Juno Valentine and the Fantastic Fashion Adventure by Eva Chen and illustrated by Derek Desierto

ONGOING ACTIVITIES:Creating art with with felt, beads, tissue and other materials, building hand dancer "soundsuits" like Nick Cave, art-making with the Millsaps Art Department's Art Club, and creative learning with the Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life (ISJL)
