Since opening in 2009, owner Erin Austen Abbott has received international attention, from the likes of The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Design Sponge, Daily Candy, Anthology, Design Love Fest and many, many more.
From the business:
We are so thrilled to bring you all of our finds, some of which you can't find anywhere else as we work with many artists directly to create exclusive items for Amelia. Most everything in the shop was designed and made in the USA, leaving some shelf space for a few European and Canadian lines as well. We carry a little something for everyone, from housewares to stationery to jewelry to baby items.
Amelia does pop-ups which are a fun, different way of shopping. They also have a little stall at BTC in Water Valley which was a nice surprise.

I’m Erin Austen Abbott, owner of Amelia in Oxford, Mississippi, where I carry paper goods, such as greeting cards, journals and planners, housewares, jewelry, and gifts for babies and children.
My motto for the shop is, “Where the new wave of craft culture meets design and makes it an art.” When I opened the shop, in 2009, I knew Oxford was the perfect location because of its already vibrant art scene, literary draw and the musical influences the city sees on an almost daily basis.
