Affiliate Museums

The mission of the Mississippi Museum of Art Affiliate Network, which consists of approximately 30 not-for-profit organizations in Mississippi, is to increase the engagement of the state’s many communities in the visual arts by utilizing the Museum’s most significant resource—artworks from the Mississippi Museum of Art’s Permanent Collection. The Affiliate Network Program is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

Homeschool Day

Homeschoolers ages 6 to 12 are invited to tour our exhibitions on view and create works of art inspired by those on view in the galleries. With an emphasis on creativity, students will work with Museum Teaching Fellows and educators to create, learn, and engage with each other through art.
