The Gallery Guild
The Gallery Guild was organized in 1965 "to foster interest and education in the visual arts by the presentation of lectures and programs on allied subjects, and to support the acquisition program of the Mississippi Museum of Art." Over the years, the Gallery Guild has sponsored 167 presentations and lectures by art world luminaries, and donated 94 pieces of artwork to the Museum's permanent collection, and funded conservation of three other paintings.
